Hello dear candidates to MISS SL ♛ 2020!
Finally it is time for the first runway challenge in our competition. For this first challenge we are traveling with you around the world. Some candidates have told us in the second audition about their country choice already. For our first challenge we are going to address the upcoming International Women’s day (May 8th). This year the motto is #EachforEqual, you can find more information about here. In our challenge we’d like to put a light on the situation for women in the countries you are representing. What are the issues the women in your country are facing or what are the ideas women in your country have to promote equality. We do not only look for issues but also solutions and achievements. While we are learning about the women’s situation in the country you are representing we’d like to see you in minimalist style, with a little twist to it. Please read below carefully:
STYLING
-
-
- Please style a minimalist outfit. You are free to style casual, chic, business or even (semi-) formal, as long as you keep it a minimalist style.
- You must use in the fabric of your clothing only and at least two of the colors of your country’s flag. If your country’s flag has more than 2 colors, you are free to use more than two or all colors of course. Just remember to only use the flag colors and to keep it minimalist!
- Emblems, stars and crests do not count for flag colors.
- Hats, hair, makeup, shoes, nails, tattoos and handheld accessories may be in the flag colors too, but do not count. The flag colors need to be in your clothing.
- You can wear hats if it suits your style, but refrain from covering your face please.
POSES
-
-
- Please prepare a walking animation, a default pose and a pose set for about 40 – 60 seconds to present your styling.
- We’d like to see if you want to try a 360° turn in your poses already, but it’s not subject for scoring yet.
- Your poses and walk should be appropriate for your outfit. Generally, avoid all sorts of clipping or alpha issues.
